Kimch'on has just one cinema: Primus Cinema. It's a small cinema with 4 houses.
All english films are in english with korean subtitles. I'm not sure about the price anymore. Think it was about 8'000 Won.

In the west of Kim'chon you'll find the Chikchisa Temple (aka Jikjisa). That's one of the first Buddhist temples in Korea. That temple is famous for a monk called "Sa-myong" (Son'gun). He spent many years in Kumgangsan, fought the Japanese and became a national hero.
The entrance fee is W 2500.

After our visit in the Temple, we stopped by this local restaurant. I'm not sure about the name, because my hangul is not that good yet....
There are a few Restaurants in this area and all of them looked good. But watch out! Each of them has its own speciality.
Favorite Dish: I had Sanchea-Jungsik. This dish offers a huge variaty of Vegetebles from the mountains, Fish, Pork, Beef and Seafood.
It's huge and we couldn't finish it up. Even though it was yummy!
