Having spent too much time in Korea, I often get cravings for some comfort foods of the west. I do not visit fast food chains, which there are too many of in Korea.
However, Quizno's in Korea is a very rare find!! It is a testiment to the number of foreigners who visit Okpo and the shipyard.
Favorite Dish: The menu is the same as in the west. You can find turkey & swiss, grilled chicken, roast beef, etc. Just like home...

While slowly exploring all the corners of Korea, I have been surprised to find yet another Turkish restaurant run by the same family as those I have visited in Busan and Ulsan.
"Turkish House" might have a slightly different menu than the "Kebabistan" in Busan and Ulsan, but the quality is the same, the presentation is the same and I even saw some familiar faces in the kitchen as the family rotates around and manages all three.
Favorite Dish: As always, I'm fairly partial to the Iskander, but the chops, humas, and anything served with eggplant are great!

Athene, although located at the main road, was a little hidden to me, becuase it's in between the two roads I normally took going down into Okp'o.
Favorite Dish: I think the big fruit salade was the absolute highpoint. A friend of mine ordered this bowl, because he felt too sick to enjoy any of the other great food that is on the menu.

The London Pub is one of the view places with more wertern oriented food servings.
The restaurant is located at the first floor overlooking the harbour and the Daewoo shipyard somewhat further away.
Favorite Dish: Salad (big bowl)

Address: At the OkPo Harbourfront; you cannot miss it.
Never knew the name of this restaurant, but I must have eaten something wrong. I just got a "bad stomage" and lost everything over night.
