Pusan Tower (118m high) is in Dragon Head Mountain Garden, which is in the center of downtown. Walk westward along the main shopping street for several minutes from Subway Nampo-don Station, and you will find the entrance to the escalators to the Garden. There are also stairs on both sides of the escalators. If you prefer walking, you don't have to use the escalators. There are 168 steps.)
An elevator takes you to the obsevation floor at the top. The ticket is 3,500 won. The view from the top is wonderful especially from evening to night. You will surely enjoy the view of the city and the port.
*The tower is open till 10pm.
*You can use the escalators to the garden till 9pm.

A Huge Cloth Bag

The International Market is a big market near Jagalchi Station. Its shape is like a strip about 100 meter wide and 700 meter long. It has 2 floors. On the first floor there are shops that sell electrical appliances, bags, shoes and lether jackets. On the second floor they sell beautiful Korean coutumes, hemp brouses, pillow covers, small bags made of colorful Korean cloth. I bought 9 small bags made of Korean cloth. One bag cost 2,000 won. At a souvenir shop near Gimhae Airport, the same thing cost 7,000 won. How cheap it was at the International Market! There you can buy things wholesale.
On the second there are many shops that sell beautiful things. So you will be able to enjoy watching them.

One of the pleasures while travelling is going to a local spa.
Dongrae Hot Spring Resort is a big spa resort in Pusan. There are lots of hotels with natural spa facilities which are open to day trippers.
HOTEL NONGSHIM is the biggest and modernist one. They have various kinds of bath such as lukewater baths, hot water baths, a bath with herbal medicine, Jacuzzi, sauna....
The admission fee is 7,900 won.
You are not supposed to enter the bathroom with your swimsuit on.
Baths for men and baths for women are separate.
You can use towels and cakes of soap for free.
Same as other hotels in South Korea, you should take shampoo and treatment with you.

Fish and A Woman at the Old Market

Pusan is well known for fresh seafood. The center of seafood is Jagalchi Market. The market is divided into two parts. One is the new market in a newly built building. The other is older market next to the new one. There are seafood restaurants on the second floor of the new market. You can enjoy watching various kinds of seafood at both markets. And you will also be interested in how middle-aged women work at each shops. Few men could be seen there.

Seaman's Center

A nice convenience for a sailor. It's right next to the pier. The beer is cheap. They have a gift shop and a restaraunt as well. If you're not up for wandering far from the brow you can always stop inside for a while, and relax off the ship without going far.

If you visit Jagalchi Seafood Market, get out of the building and go to the sea bank at the back of the market. You'll enjoy nice views of Pusan Port from there.

Slim Dog and Me on Texas Street

Texas Street is full of shops, bars and restaraunts. We had a good time down there between going shopping, getting some food, and getting drunk. You can do it all on this little strip.
