Korean antique furniture, tools, and books are in abundance at the Dapsimni antique stores one street north of Dapsimni Station on Line 5.
I went looking for new furniture made in the traditional style. They didn't have new furniture here, only true antiques, but one of the vendors drove me to the "factory" where furniture is made. It was a one-man show, in the basement of a small office building. He makes furniture by hand, based on photos or pictures from catalogs or magazines.
