Since I didn't pay that much to get in, I am going to go with the first one. There is a lot of fish! A lot more than 600 total. It is a very cool aquarium though, much better than my local one in Cincinnati. Kids will love the shark tanks, parents will wonder just how thick the glass is. And Jellyfish have never looked creepier! The museum is open 365 days a year rain or shine from 10am to 8pm. Yes, you may get lost in this maze of a shopping centre. But there are so many information booths manned (more like "Womanned") by the helpful ladies, directing and giving you the information you need. Its best to get a map of all the stores in the shopping centre. A little warning tho' , the prices here are a bit on the high side. Its not as cheap as Dondaemun and the other places and you definitely cannot bargain. What to look out for : (1) the Megabox Cinema ~ its huge (2) the aquarium (cost about 15000 Won per adult but its worth it) (3) a huge stationery warehouse! (4) the bookstore (too bad most of the books are in korean) Well if this is not your cup of tea, there is always the The War Memorial More Tips Leave a Comment

Seoul's Convention & Exhibition Center offers far more than its convention halls. There is a giant underground shopping mall, where you can literally spend days wihout being able to see everything and without the need to go outside, including dozens of restaurants, one of Seoul's most popular movie theatres (Megabox) as well as an aquarium, that displays all kind of fish above and beneath your walking path. It's maybe not the best place to shop (in terms of price) but it's definitely an experience just to go down there. If you are able to find your way through without getting lost, you can be proud of yourself. Leave a Comment Address: Samseong stationDirections: Right beneath the World Trade Center. Subway line no. 2 (green line), gett of at Samseong station and follow the signboards that guide you to (and through) COEX.

It was a rainy day and for some reason we really wanted to see a movie. We took the subway to the COEX Mall. People here dress up to go to the mall! The mall itself was huge. We found the movie theatre and bought tickets for Million Dollar Baby. The seats are assigned. Fortunately for us the movie was in English with Korean subtitles. Leave a Comment

If every one of you will go to Seoul with yours kids. One of the places you should visit is "COEX Mall". It is an underground shopping mall located in the Gangnam-gu of Seoul, South Korea, and is the largest shopping center in Seoul enclosed for all-weather fun. There is the usual shopping, and a food court with both Korean and “Western” food (pizza, burgers). There are interesting aquariums to explore at the COEX Mall. The aquarium is themed, meaning you explore different zones. For avoiding crowds I suggest you should go there in weekday. The place has a huge shark tank, different kinds of tropical fish. You can take Green subway line to SAMSUNG station. If you follow Korean word exit signs correctly, you get up into the mall without even going outside.
