Everland is Composed of 3 huge theme areas, the Disney Like Festival World (with 5 sub-areas), the Carribbean Bay, a large water-themed park and Speedway, the race themed area. It is patterned more like Disneyworld than Disneyland. this is the larger of the 2 main theme parks in South Korea (the other is Lotte World, but for lack of time, I did not go there). Well I'm an Amusement park Junkie so I love this kind of stuff. Just look at my VIDEOS here! I am no sucker for theme parks but a thrill seeker. So when someone told me that the scariest rides were in Everland, Yongin, I gamely hop on a bus and travelled 40 min to pay good money to scare myself. I wasn't disappointed. I lost count the number of times my stomach lurched at those rides. My favourite was of course the 360 degree ride that turned around and around while suspended in mid-air. The viking came a close second. For more details on how to get there, click on the website. Leave a Comment

I love the Everland. It is just too bad that it so far out of the way to get to. But nevertheless, I am a total roller coaster junkie, and there are a couple very good ones here. the suspended one is good, but the rolling X train has 2 loops, and some great twists and turns to it. There is also a water park called Carribian Bay, which is a great place for Kdoc to go and get eye candy from beautiful korean women in bathing suits. (Yeah, I need a girlfriend, deal with it.) fun can be had for the entire family, as there are rides for kids, shows for mom, and a golf course for dad. There is a zoo so the entire family unit can be eaten by tigers after falling into the cage. Or you could just look at them too, but where is the fun in that? Everland is one of the theme park in Korea. Coming here will make you feel as if you really are in the Caribbean. There are shipwrecks, private caves, old temple ruins and tropical trees. You will feel as if you have discovered a mystical island. Leave a Comment

Everland has a small zoo setup, arranged into different sections. Small animals, Monkey Valley, Safari, and a few other areas. Not worth going to see by itself, but ok to wander through when you are tired of the roller coaster lineups... Leave a Comment Directions: Take red bus 5002 from Gangnam station. It's cheap, only W1700. Busride takes about 40 minutes.

Went to Everland for a friend's birthday. For Halloween (which is aparently a month-long event) they run parades and have different things set up all through the park. Leave a Comment Directions: Take red bus 5002 from Gangnam station. It's cheap, only W1700. Busride takes about 40 minutes.

It's a big theme park which include zoo and botanical garden. There are organise different festival as per season. I was there during Winter, there is a huge winter decoration on the entrance. Big 5 ticket is 17,000 W for adult and 10,000 W for kids. Big 5 include 5 rides in the park Tulip Festival (April-May), Rose Festival (June), Midsummer Night Festival (July-August), Chrysanthemum Festival and Autumnal Tint Festival (September-October), Snow Plaza (Nov.-Mar.) Leave a Comment Directions: Via Express bus; from Seoul Express bus terminal, take the express bus to Yong-in. It runs every 15 minutes and takes 45 minutes. * Seoul Express Terminal is also called "Kangnam Terminal."

This famous theme park combine many things in one. There are zoo, water park, theme park for rides. All in one place. I think this is Disneyland of Korean. Leave a Comment

Everland is huge and the park is categorised by the different themes. You can try the double vikings, visit the flower garden, try the 3D theatre and the list goes on. But don't try the ghost house if you do not understand Korean. We tried that and the effect is much lessen since the main thing lies in the hearing about the story. Imagine.... people around you are like screaming like crazy and you are just stone there. :( Leave a Comment

Try out the rides at the Yongin Everland, which is NOT located within Seoul, but on the outskirts of Seoul. It really feels like Toyland or Fairyland in Enid Blyton's storybooks... :) When I was there, it was pretty cold and they had christmas songs playing in addition to the fairytale theme... it felt absolutely magical!! The picture shows the ride 'Hurricane', located at American Adventure (one of five theme worlds - American Adventure, Global Fair, Equatorial Adventure, Magic Land and European Adventure). I recommend the Safari World where visitors will ride in a minibus through the zoo's natural animal environment and the animals will perform tricks on the driver's command. And also, I recommend you purchase the Unlimited Ride ticket instead of the Big 5 which only entitles you to 5 rides. Leave a Comment Other Contact: Information: 031-320-5000 http:/
