I find Everland nice & enjoyable. My favorite is the Safari World where you can see different wild animals up close. I wish I could hug those bears. They're so cute & cuddly. Am afraid of the coasters so I chose some tamer rides like the carousels & bump cars. Don't forget to have the boat ride in Global Village. Love those beautiful flower gardens. We stayed til the fireworks which is spectacular in the Four Seasons Garden. Be sure to catch the shows & parades at Carnival Square & Grand Stage. Great for animal lovers coz there's plenty to see. I also enjoyed the Amazon Express with the exhilarating boat ride. Try the Human Sky with your feet hanging in the air. Study the map 1st coz it's easy to get lost in this huge park. Last bus departs 11PM. Subway is til 11:45PM only. It's a 2-hour trip from Seoul city center. You can avail of Q Pass to avoid the long lines. Better go on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Watch out for coupons to avail of discounts. We got ours at Yim's House, the hotel we're staying. Entrance is only W22T. Opens 9:30AM-9PM or 1AM (Sun).

Everland T Express offers the steepest ride in the world, and with its 77-degree angle,
the experience of falling gives an unparalleled roller coaster ride! Potential energy grows bigger according to the height, the mass of the falling object, and the angle, which means that the steepest ride has the biggest potential energy. With a 77-degree angle, T Express offers the best potential energy experience.

Everland is a Huge Amusement Complex located in Yongin City, about 50 kilometers from seoul. Everland is Composed of 3 huge theme areas, the Disney Like Festival World (with 5 sub-areas), the Carribbean Bay, a large water-themed park and Speedway, the race themed area. It is patterned more like Disneyworld than Disneyland. this is the larger of the 2 main theme parks in South Korea (the other is Lotte World, but for lack of time, I did not go there).

Everland has a small zoo setup, arranged into different sections.
Small animals, Monkey Valley, Safari, and a few other areas.
Not worth going to see by itself, but ok to wander through when you are tired of the roller coaster lineups...

i came to Korea on winter. According to the people here, the activities on winter are not as much in summer. i did go to their safari world and manage to see the "liger" (lion mix with tiger) but the animals in the safari still not many if compare to summer. In everland, you also manage to watch they present the tradisional dance.

When I visited this amusement park, near Seoul, it was called the Yong-in Farmland. Everland probably is a better name, at least for any Western visitors. At that time, it was expanding, and by now it has far more to offer. Among the newer attractions are an art museum, motor speedway, and a lot more kids' activities.

I am no sucker for theme parks but a thrill seeker. So when someone told me that the scariest rides were in Everland, Yongin, I gamely hop on a bus and travelled 40 min to pay good money to scare myself.
I wasn't disappointed. I lost count the number of times my stomach lurched at those rides. My favourite was of course the 360 degree ride that turned around and around while suspended in mid-air. The viking came a close second.
For more details on how to get there, click on the website.

Everland is one of the theme park in Korea.
Coming here will make you feel as if you really are in the Caribbean.
There are shipwrecks, private caves, old temple ruins and tropical trees. You will feel as if you have discovered a mystical island.

I love the Everland. It is just too bad that it so far out of the way to get to. But nevertheless, I am a total roller coaster junkie, and there are a couple very good ones here. the suspended one is good, but the rolling X train has 2 loops, and some great twists and turns to it. There is also a water park called Carribian Bay, which is a great place for Kdoc to go and get eye candy from beautiful korean women in bathing suits. (Yeah, I need a girlfriend, deal with it.)
fun can be had for the entire family, as there are rides for kids, shows for mom, and a golf course for dad. There is a zoo so the entire family unit can be eaten by tigers after falling into the cage. Or you could just look at them too, but where is the fun in that?
