Central Market, or Chungang Sijang, is the main market in Daejeon. There are both covered and open-air areas. There are sections for fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, household goods, clothes etc. Some of the things you see can be a bit shocking. This is the first place where I saw pickled seahorses and a skinned dog for sale.
It's an interesting place to wander around and a good place to do your weekly shopping. Be prepared to bargain.
