The Seoul Metro is a clean and efficient and at non peak times I didn't find it that crowded.
Though it is sometimes faster to take a direct bus to where you want to go.

There are toll plazas on the highways.
Hyundai is the most common car and bus in Korea.
The car in the photo is a Daewoo Matiz, a very small car
    typical of what Koreans drive.

I took the ferry from Shimonoseki (Japan) to Pusan (South-Korea). The photo shows the dormitory on the ferry. You sleep on a blanket on the floor.

INCHEON international airport is very modern, comfortable, best airport.
But there is no subway or train(I'v heard subway system is under construction). So you must ride Bus or Taxi to go Seoul.
