Rawana Ella Falls is about 6 kn towards Wellawaya.It is claimed to be the wildest looking fall in Sri Lanka. In my opinion, the fall may not have spendid water falling down, the gully has made it to be outstanding.

It is a short walk of 45 mins from Ella to the Little Adam's Peak. You will pass by a tea plantation on the way up there. Your climb awards you a spendid view of Ella Gap and the surrounding landscape.

On the way from Ella to the Litte Adam's Peak, I passed through the tea estate where I could get a very closer look and contact with tea leaver pickers, who are mainly south indians. It is a hard life for them as they usually piacjk 10-15kg of tea leaves and earn a little money for living. We should treasure every cup of tea that we drink.

The excellent view of the Ella Gap is breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see as far as the south coastal line. Be sure you visit the Resthouse to get this view.
