cazz38 Says: Hundreds of people a year come to Sri Lanka to get married and i can see why.If you get the chance to see a wedding its amazing,they have the Kandyan dancers and drummers and an elephant as well to go for a ride on afterwards.The flowers they use are beautiful.
cazz38 Says: The food at the Blue Water is fantastic,every night was a different theme,from chinese to mexican.There was a seafood camp fire by the beach and a bar-be-que on the lawn, and the desserts were to die for.They even made us a beautiful cake for our 20th wedding anniversay.

cazz38 Says: All over Sri Lanka you can hire a tuk tuk,they are everywhere and so cheap as well,set a price with the driver before you get in,Its an experience you will never forget.
cazz38 Says: There are so many different things to buy,we found a great shop in Wadduwa called Benetton Gems & Jewellery selling rings,necklaces and braclets and next door was a gift shop selling spices,masks wood carvings etc.The prices are very good.
cazz38 Says: Don't leave Sri Lanka without trying a King coconut,its a lovely drink and is great for an upset stomach and is even better cure for a hangover.Sri Lankan's use every part of coconuts nothing goes to waste,also its where the local drink arrack comes from.

cazz38 Says: If you are going out of season be very careful in the sea.The under current is very strong,a man staying at our Hotel broke his hand in the sea,he didn't realize how bad it was.There are no life saving facillities on most beaches.

cazz38 Says: Pack light for beach stays as it is so hot in Sri Lanka and the humidity is so high,you will only need your swim wear,shorts t.shirts etc and something smart for the evenings.take a high sun factor and a mozzie spray we got bit quite a few times.
