*Less than where you are going .I really think you don't have to bring too much here , for daily products , you can get them here in a even twice cheaper price than where you are from . *Clothing:Taiwan is definitely not cold as you can see from what I wore a couple of days ago from the photo . The photo was taken in mid-Dec . Can you imagine ? So if you are coming here , you should be glad that you don't need to take all your big coat with you . A light jacket or coat , is just enough.*RaincoatA raincoat should be very useful if you are coming here in winter . especially in Taipei , it used to rain a lot . Pharmacies are everywhere . So don't worry about that you won't be able to get them .

depending on your trip: suitcase if you go and stay there for a long time and of course if you don't plan to move a lot.backpack if you plan if you want to go anywhere and have no headquarter where you would keep all your stuff. from june to October, you will hardy be likely to wear trousers. Then weather may get colder and rainy. It was quite hot compared to Europe in December as it temperature varied between 15 to 20 degrees. From January it is usually getting much colder and it can reach around 5° for Chinese new year.shoes : tennis shoes, and kinds of sandals for warm days. Better have a rain coat as frequent heavy rain showers in Oct-Nov-Dec. However you can find good and cheap rain coats once there. It is usuallyt cheapest in Taiwanese night markets. In most of the places You can find all you need as there are a lot of toileteries shop or supermarkets. However it is more or less...

for people who like food and snacks, big baggage and backpack is preferred, and of course, dun forget a small bag for your wallet ;) weather in Winter is more or less like Hong Kong, but surely not so windy as in Hong Kong. Rather thick overcoat may be useful for the night, sometimes you really need thick clothing :D facial cream for dry weather, sun block lotion for stong sunny day! personal drugs, insect defenese lotin when you go to country park or even up to the mountain you'd better have some spare batteries wear enough clothing to keep you warm, like other big countries, it's real dark in the greeneries... so make sure you have torch for camping. camera cannot be missed!! personal equipment like contact lens accessories
Just be casual! Be yourself, as long as you feel comfortable!! In summer time, it will gets VERY HOT here, sometimes will up to 35 C/95 F, I guess you won't want to go out with some FANCY clothes. So, make yourself feel comfortable and free! In winter time, we don't have snow here, so you don't have to buy too much THICK jacket, just some warm clothes will be fine.;)))
Make sure you bring along with you an umbrella or two as it rains fairly regularly in Taiwan especially in spring, autumn and winter.

Mosquito repellent if you go there during the summer or fall.
