Favorite thing: Taiwan struggles between traditional life and rapidly changing modern urbanity. Old-fashioned markets selling fish and meat lie alongside modern department stores, and traditional teahouses are next to a McDonald. Taipei is a hectic and crowded city and was extremely polluted during the 70s and 80s. From what I heard, Taipei has improved and is not as dirty as twenty years ago. The picture shows the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial.

Favorite thing: We hired a cab for several hours and he took us out in the country and up into the hills to a school.I photographed some of the kids there and they really enjoyed hamming itup for a camera.Unfortunately my camera was broken and none of my pictures came out.
Fondest memory: We had a huge meal at a big beautiful hotel. The Grand Hotel may have been the name of itbut I am not certain.

Favorite thing: Ked si chcete obzriet cely komplex budov Chiang Kai-shekovho Memorialu, staci sa vystverat na 46. poschodie mrakodrapu Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, ktory je zatial najvyssou dokoncenou stavbou v Taipei. Ale dlho uz nebude, lebo ho predbehne novy, skoro dva krat tak vysoky mrakodrap. Samozrejma len v pripade, ze im ho nejake zemetrasenie neskrati.

Favorite thing: Visit the night markets (the one at Shihlin was particularly nice) and try pearl milk tea!
Fondest memory: Meeting Kiely (Virtual Tourist member) and her friends, they were so extremely nice to me!
In fact, everyone in Taiwan was very friendly. I met a nice businessman on the plane flight from Seoul to Taipei. He and his friend who picked him up at the airport gave me (a complete stranger) a ride from the airport right to the door of my hotel. He even gave me his umbrella because it was lightly raining and I didn't have one. Very nice people!

Favorite thing: People/Friend
People come into your life for a reason , a season , or a lifetime . When you figure out which one it is , you will know what to do for each person .
When someone is in your life for a REASON ... It is usually to meet a need you have expressed . They have come to assist you through a difficulty , to provide you with guidance and support , to aid you physically emotionally , or spiritually .
They may seem like a godsend , and they are ! They are there for the reason you need them to be . Then , without any wrong doing on your part , or an inconvenient time , this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end .
Sometimes they die .
Sometimes they walk away .
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand .
What we must realize is that our need has been met , our desire fulfilled , their work is done . The prayer you sent up has been answered . And now it's time to move on .
When people come into your life for a SEASON . ... Because your turn has come to share , grow , or learn . They bring you an experience of peace , or make you laugh . They may teach you something you have never done . They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy . Believe it ! It is real ! But , only for a season .
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons ; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundaton . Your job is to accept the lesson , love the person , and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life . It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant . Thank you for being part of my life .
Stop here and smile :)

+Find someone who understands you , and expect yourself to be someone who would understand others .
+Smart people love to guess what others keep in heart , maybe , they get it right every time , but lost your heart .
+Silly people love to give their hearts , maybe they are laughed at every time , but they get others heart .
See ?! To be happy is really easy !!!
