This is the most spectacular temple I visited in Taipei. Full of worshipers, smoke, and fruit, this temple is amazing. The temple was constructed in 1967, and it was built in honor of God of War and Merchants, Kuan Kung.

Hsingtien Temple, which was one of the most popular temples in Taiwan even though it was a relatively new construction having been built in 1967. It was crowded with worshippers bowing their heads or kneeling waving joss sticks.

At the Hsingtien Temple, there were free candles and surprisingly no donation box which is very unusual but there were however women outside the compound at the gate collecting donations.
