Mao Kong (Cat Sky) area is known for producing good Taiwanise tea. There are tens of cafeterias dotted on the roads on the mountainside and Mao Kong is a very popular spot among young Taipei people.
Since the cafeterias are on the mountainside, from there I could enjoy a nice view of the mountain and the city of Taipei. Especially the night view of Taipei will be wonderful. (I'm sorry I went there in the daytime. ) And I was also refreshed by the fresh air.
At a cafeteria, order a kind of Taiwanese tea and some sweets or nuts. We ordered dried plums, pumpkin seeds and boiled green soybeans in a pod. They will bring you a big teakettle. They will show you how to make Taiwanese tea.
You can stay at the cafeteria as long as you like. But not a day!

Here you can see the best Taipei's night view. Also, you can drink some Chinese tea, and have something nice to eat with friends all night long.
And for most lovers, it's a rather romantic place to date.
