 Beautiful Chiayi on a Clear

Chiayi is actually one of the more smog choked places on the planet. I lived here for about 2 years, very close to these mountains shown in this picture, and pretty much never saw them...
The picture here is of a 99 percentile 3 sigma event (A large storm had just blown thru which dispersed the smog long enough to snap a picture or two...)
I guess this is what the Portuguese were talking about when they named Taiwan Isla Formosa (The Beautiful Island...) Leave a Comment
