Burtty Says: Chaio Pan Shan Park is a nice place to see the whole Hsikou Plateau. The late President Chiang Kai-Shek saw the Hsikou Plateau from here and thought that it looked like his hometown very much so he named this place as Hsikou which is the same name as his birthplace.

Burtty Says: Fu Hsing bridge was an old bridge across the river on the North Cross Island Highway. Because the bridge is narrow, a new bridge was built paralle to it. Thus Fu Hsing bridge does not need to carry the heavy traffic now. You can have a walk easily on this bridge.

Burtty Says: Mei Tuay Shan was a stop at the middle of the Ro Ma Highway. It is a good place to have the bird view of the Shimen Dam. The entrance fee for the adult is NTD 20 (About USD 0.70). They provide the coffee and meal at the weekend but not at the day of our visit.
