Favorite thing: Hwa-Liean is located in the easten Taiwan . As you all know that Taiwan is an island , so there are a lot of beaches here . But the thing which you might not know is that the beaches along the east coast are all very different from the ones in the west . And there are also a lot of nice views in easten Taiwan . Sunny Day in Hwa-Liean
Hwa-Liean is famous for canoeing . So if you like it , you definitely wouldn't wanna miss visiting Hwa-Liean
Memory
Personally , I've been here many times but somehow I just can't remember when and what I've done there . There is only once I remember it clearly and that's my graduation trip . I was in a big class with 754 other classmates for four years but guess you all know that most of the time , we get along with some kind of people who have the same or similar taste with you better . And I have too . We are a group of around 10 persons .
There was also a class graduation trip at that time but we 10 all , decided not going with the class and made our own one . We all had so much fun and have seen really a lot in the eastern Taiwan .
I really wish you all can have the chance to visit Taiwan , and as I said before , there is not only Taipei to see here in Taiwan , there are a lot of other places worth a visit .

Favorite thing: We had many great walks in the National Taroko Park. We liked the walks on the Sakadang Trail and the old highway of the tunnel of nine turns very much. Our friends also like the stamps of the plants and the animals at the visitor center. They brought back a booklet with those stamping marks.

Favorite thing: Hualien is the rock capital of Taiwan... One of the main economic activites here is mining marble up in the mountains. This is bad for the mountains (you can easily see the scars from mining in some areas), but it also promotes marble sculpting in town. As such, there are a number of marble statues that can be found around town... some of which are quite good...
So if you like shopping for marble pieces or just looking at the sculptures, Hualien is the place for you...

Came to Hualien for 3 days 2 nights. Other than the Taroko Gorge and the seaside to visit, we went to Tzu Chi Foundation, one of the 3 largest buddhist orgainsations in Taiwan.
