It is kind of a mini version of Sea World and Disney land combined.. It is a shame because the stretch of coast from Hualien to Taitung is really beautiful and for the most part undeveloped, and I'm worried that this blight on the landscape will lead to further development in this area.
It is my feverent hope that a large typhoon will swallow this eyesore up and wash it to the bottom of the pacific... (where it belongs....)
Mark you calendars... Only five more months to typhoon season...

Came to Hualien for 3 days 2 nights. Other than the Taroko Gorge and the seaside to visit, we went to Tzu Chi Foundation, one of the 3 largest buddhist orgainsations in Taiwan.
