after the film : A CITY OF SADNESS , Jiou-fen become a little bit ugly because of those increasing new/business only/ugly shops.
This "The City of the Sky Tea house" is a 4 floor old building with red stone.
my favorite tea room/ cafe shop in Jiou-fen.

Try the hot noodles and beef, after you can have the shaved ice or sweet coloured balls for dessert. Taiwanese also like peanuts sprinked on various dishes.

In the foggy Jiu Fen, it is so nice to have a bowl yam dessert -- "O Ei". The dessert is making by yam and flour, cook with ginger soup... It is great to have under the cold weather.
