This is the "Gu Dao" at Jiu Fen, where the old street of the old Jiu Fen Town. However, you might see it is not so old and cater for the tourist. For those who don't really like the tourist spot, you will find it very commercialize.
Unique Suggestions: In Taiwan, there is a very good landmark.... wherever you see a 7-Eleven, it is consider a developed area or tourist spot, just like Jiu Fen.
Fun Alternatives: If you are thinking of some other natural or undisturb area... look for those place without or far from 7-Eleven, and you will definitely find the people are not so commercial like this place.

For those who are taking a bus to Jiu Fen, you might see a station called "Jiu Feng" along your way.
Don't drop off at this station, or you'll end up at down hill, walking tirely up to the hill top.
Unique Suggestions: Drop off at the "Gu Dao" (Old Street) station, 2 station away from Jiu Feng station. You are on the hill top and the entrance of the popular spot.
