Jibei Island is the biggest of the north marine region in the Penghu group of Islands. The area is about 3.1 square kilometers in size. In the West a golden bay stretching for thousands of meters in arc shape into the sea; which forms a delightful contrast with the blue sky and green sea. The beautiful sandy beach is suitable for swimming, dabbling, diving and enjoying the scene of the setting sun, resembling the Hawaii holiday resort. Jibei Water Park is in Baishawei on the southwest island. The many colorful holiday log cabins on the bay decorate Jibei with the flourishing tropical fine taste.

The curious pillar-like basalt forms a slender sea-eroded ditch because of the erosion of the seawater for years. It's famous for that the rumbles of the tide water rushing to shore can resound through the skies. The rumbles and the column of tide water and the swirling seawater are called "Three Big Curious Scenes" of the old fish village. Nearby there's a Lingying Wenwang Palace. A rare Royal Ship more than 10m in length is set in it.

Syiyu Lighthouse is also called "Yuwengdau Dengta" (Fisherman Island Lighthouse). It's about 1.14m high, in Waian village in southwest Syiyu Island, and built in 1778. Later, in the early years of Gwangsyu in Ching dynasty, the English were granted to rebuild it as a pig iron house. The lighthouse is the main goal of the shipping lane between Taiwan and Syamen. It's also the earliest lighthouse of Taiwan.

Syitai Ancient Fort built in 1887, ranked as class-1 ancient remains. The cannon stand which was once known as Syitai Gubau Pautai (Syitai Ancient Cannon Stand) is at the most front and is the largest and most powerful of Penghu. This fort is well ventilated and has good lighting. Make an ascent of the arched passage, and look around you can seem to feel gallant and stately, and the national spirit of which the brave defenders guarded against the bandits. This Fort is the witness of the history of Penghu and the foreign relations.

This Gate is the only preserved one in the six gates built in Ching dynasty, in Magung City; and is ranked as class-2 ancient remains. On the arched gate there's a tower from where a complete distant view of the sea at the Magung harbor can be taken clearly. Around the gate are the old and exuberant banyan trees.

Tyanhou Temple built in 1592, the historical symbol of Panghu. It's ranked as Taiwan's class-1 ancient remains. The old architectural arts are found everywhere in the temple. The delicate art carving shows the special features of our Country's traditional culture. This temple is dedicated to the gilded Madzu, and set the virtuous women's sacred tablets of Penghu in the previous ages. Tyanhou Temple becomes the center of people's belief.

Whale Cave, on Syaumen Island, commonly reputed as "The Pearl of Houmen", is a small island of Fangshan basalt. It's famous for the shape like a whale and is formed by the black pillar-like basalt on the sea cliff eroded into a giant cave by the sea tides for a long time. People may enter the cave to listen to the sounds of tides and enjoy for a while, that let you forget the uproarious world.

Tunglyang Old Banyan which, the spiritual symbol, is in front of Bauan Temple in Tunglyang village of west Baisha Island. The old Banyan was more than 300 years ago, it occupies the land area over 6,600 square meters. The branches of the old Banyan widthwise grows effected by the northeast monsoon; its aerial roots droop to the ground and grow new tree trunk again. Under the tree people can stay there away from the summer heat and enjoy the cool air, or a pot of tea, picnicking, etc.

Kwahai Bridge(Cross-The-Sea Bridge) is commonly known as "The Far East longest rainbow" and connects Syi (west) Island to Baisha Island. The land dike is 319m long and the bridge 2,159m. The bridge was completed in the end of 1970. The straight bridge body is good for motorcycle riding. The white arched bridge gates at both ends are the spiritual symbol of Penhu. Stand still on the bridge can look around the broad sea, listen to the imposing sounds of waves and take a distant look at Datsang Island and Syaumen Island on Penghu Bay.

Because of surrounding the ocean environment, there are many kinds of the fishes and ocean animals near Peng Hu Islands. Peng Hu Aquarium has the exhibition of some local fishes as well as more other fishes.
