    European Garden. An amusement park and
    other entertainment attractions have been
    added to the Village since 1992. Today, the
    large numbers of completed attractions
    ensure the position of the Formosan
    Aboriginal Culture Village as a highly
    competitive and leading edge theme park in
    Taiwan.

    Sun Moon Lake (chinese: ¤é¤ë¼æ)

    It was called Shuishalian, a biggest natural lake in Taiwan. The most attraction of the lake is in the early morning; when the daybreaks, on the surface of the lake are covered with the thick blight completely like wearing thin gauze. Matching with the surrounding mountains and the mist it let you feel as if you were in the fairyland. There are six- theme parks in there, including landscape, nature, peacocks & butterflies, water birds and religion. You can visit here to enjoy the different experience.

    Syitou Forest Resort (chinese: ·ËÀY)

    Syitao is the experiment logging station. It's the best summer resort to enjoy the grace shapes of trees, the dense leaves and branches blot out the sky. The most famous landscape is the blue green pool water and the arched bamboo bridge across on it are very special. Other bamboo specimen house, Sacred Tree, Fenghuang Shan lookout tower, plants nursery and the along-stream path are all exceedingly fascinating and charming spots.

    Jade Mountain National Park (¥É¤s°ê®a¤½¶é)

    In the park the old geologic strata and the changeable topographies of steep cliffs, canyon and broken ridges combined with the additional factors of its height and climate make of a rich Ecosystem. There are many precious resources such as the lots of rare woods, plants and wild animals. The great many of mountains within the park have become the heaven of the mountain-lovers. Besides, other beautiful scenic spots like the old way in Patungkuan, the Tatajya playing and resting area, and the places along the New Central Cross -Island Highway, etc. These are all worth a trip.

    Lingyanshan Temple (chinese: ÆFÅɤs¦x)

    Lingyanshan Temple is the foremost Buddhist ritual site presided by the learned monk, Miulyan Priest. It shows up sheer among the green trees on the mountains. Its front is a tall mountain-door. Go up from Gwanyin pavilion you can see an imposing palace called "Dasyung Precious Palace"; the dedicatory highest Shijyamoni Buddha statue, in it is 15m high; over 10 icons stand at both sides, looking serious. The whole palace is built of red glazed tiles, flying-posed eaves and precious bell. The evening drums and morning bells and the chanting of the Buddhist scriptures around always make people feel peaceful.

    Lushan Hot Spring (chinese: ¿c¤s·Å¬u)

    This hot spring found since Japanese' occupying period has become well known because of its surrounding mountains and the suitable climate. It's a kind of the alkalinity carbonic acid hydrogen sodium spring, with crystal-clear water, good for health. It's very convenient for visitors to spend the night as many hotels are here. The most famous landscape is Lushan suspension bridge; the left side is the old water source, .the right side the new one. Both have pools for visitors to boil the eggs.

    Jiji Mini Train (chinese: ¶°¶°¤p¤õ¨®)

    The feeder line of Jiji Train starting from Ershui in Janghua to Checheng in Nantou is about 30km high. It was more than 70 years ago when the project was completed in 1921. The scenery along the line is beautiful, full of the field views. The most known spot is Jiji Train Station, which is built of red hinoki-cypress and looks purity. Many tourists like to take pictures here and often take a train to Shuili experiencing the pleasure.

    Peacock Garden

    The Peacock Garden is located in the north-eastern shore of Sun Moon Lake and has an enclosure where the lively peacocks and peahens roam.

    Out-of-Bounds Lalu Island

    This is a sacred island reserved for the Thao aboriginal tribe and everyone is prohibited to land on this island. But visitors can take a boat and sail around it.

    The lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, hence the name.

    not the one inside. There's another bigger one in front of the main gate. You can take an overview of the temple if climb higher.
