Dunkin Donuts is famous donuts & cafe chainstore from East USA. Since 2005 Mister Donut from Japan has been hot in Taiwan. Dunkin Donuts followed and came to Taiwan again.
At Dunkin Donuts you have to pick up donuts (50 choices) on your own and then order drinks or directly pay at counter. Your buy 5 and get 1 free or 9 for pay and 3 free. The purchase line is going quickly and it's fun to see delicious donuts direclty presented before you.
More good points: It opens in early morning at 07:00 to serve people breakfast sets. People also can sit down to enjoy the meals.
Personally I love donuts from Dunkin donuts better than these from Mister Donut. Dunkin donuts are firm, tasty, not too sweet and a little bigger. They make you full and have also better price. However, their caffe are light. Drinks are ok.
Favorite Dish: 1) Almond chocolate Mochi ring: Mochi ring is firm. Almond and chocolate match a lot. They make mochi ring 101/100 good.
2) Golden chocolate Mochi ring: special white chocolate and makes mochi ring taste fine.
3) French Cruller: full of egg smell. Simple and tasty which has the minimum calories among various kinds of donuts.

Red castle is red building built up in 1899 and now a beautiful restaurant. Generally speaking, it has three floors. The first and the second floors are for Chinese restaurant. The third one is Italian restaurant and caffee house.
The room decoration is great and light is well-used. Dining atmosphere is romantic and can be said the best in Taipei-Hsih. I like especially the Italian restaurant with Xmas atmosphere where a big screen was set up for HBO channel, through the big window or on the open air balcony one can see the pretty Tam-Shui landscape.
Favorite Dish: 1) Cocktail: Spanish fruit wine, I love New York etc.
2) Salmon rice: Salmon rice with spicy and cheese souce. The best dish I like there.
3) Fruit ice: fresh and a big feld. The other ice are also recommened.

Taiwan has a kind of local food that the most foreigners can't accept. Its name is stinking to-fu. To-fu is famous Chinese food made of soya beans. Stinking to-fu is fermented to-fu whose smell is strong and stinking (, but for Taiwanese it smells GOOD)
The way to cook stinking to-fu has two means: 1) fry 2) stew Da-Gi-Sha stews stinking to-fu with hot and herbal soup. One eats it with kraut, duck-blood cakes, niddle mushrooms and small meat balls. And you have 3 choices for staple food: thick rice-noodles, grass noodles (made of green beans) and wheat-noodles.
The spicy has 3 levels: small hot, medium hot and super hot. In winter and rainy days Da-Gi-Cha is always full of people.
Favorite Dish: All you must try.
Eat in: each person 60NTD and can eat noodles and soup as much as you can.
Eat out: you can order more noodles or niddle mushrooms or kraut or meat-balls. The price is the same, 60 NTD.

This stall served a special seafood snack, which is from Osaka. This particular snack is similar to squid/cuttlefish pieces fried in a pancake ball.
There are many little stalls like this that serve unique or special treats, so walk around and try a few.
