    KAMALA HAS A FEW LOCAL MARKETS THE MOST POPULAR IS SET OUT ON SOME WASTE LAND AT THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE MAIN ROAD. IT RUNS EVERY WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY FROM AROUND LUNCHTIME UNTIL JUST AFTER DARK. LIKE MOST ASIAN LOCAL MARKETS IT LITERALLY SELLS EVERYTHING.FOOD COOKED & RAW, FLOWERS,CLOTHES, KITCHENWARE, FOOTWEAR, BAGS, BELTS,JEWELLERY ELECTRONIC STUFF ALTHOUGH VERY NASTY CHEAP STUFF MOSTLY. THEY EVEN SELL LIVE FISH & SMALL TURTLES AS PETS WE HOPE!!!IT IS PACKED WITH LOCALS AND YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO DO TOO MUCH BARGAINING HERE. A LOT OF THE STUFF IS FIXED PRICE EG. 100THB SUNNIES , WALLETS & WATCHES. THAT'S WHAT THE THAI'S PAY TOO. THE ONLY THING WE HAD TO BARGAIN DOWN WAS THE TSHIRTS.
