ceramic shards

At the base of this chedi, locals have stuck fragments of broken ceramics, typically imported from China in the period (apart from the ubiquitous `Martaban pots').

A lot of people miss this wonderful temple, that is my preferred one in Ayuthaya, located in good position over the river. It's out of ancient town towards west. You need a tuk - tuk.

Chao Phraya

Located in front of the railway station to the east, this old monastery has beautiful work with better craftsmanship than many other temples, but it has deteriorated to a high degree.

Q:  right again, what motivate you to visit Ayutthaya? Push factors from inside you or pull factors from the destination?

aberacadabra profile photo

A: Can't think of any push factors. I suppose if you've been to Angkor prior to Ayuthaya, you might be slightly underwhelmed.
