Saensuk Palace is an interesting place but be aware that it's very graphic. Basically there's a "Buddha Park" with a large section devoted to a hell for wrongdoers. There are depictions of murder, cannibalism and torture. It's a bit too real at some points - use your discretion about what you want to see.
I'd be a bit careful if I had young kids traveling with me.
