Part two of my tips with more pictures around the Latitude Bar and Lounge

The Vertigo Restaurant and Moon Bar is the most famous area of the Uber Luxe Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel but there are other jewels in this wonderful hotel and one of them is the Latitude Lounge and Bar, which is located at the 52nd floor of the hotel (right next to the Saffron Restaurant) and they allow smoking here unlike at the Moon Bar at the top. entrance to Latitude is via a dark timber lined passageway from the reception area of the Saffron restaurant and you will go down one level via the stairs. Latitude has a casual, resort feel like woven rattan style chairs and glass topped tables, and large growing trees that fill the center and the views here are bi directional. They have one large screen at the end that plays sports channels and the music is house, acid jazz and lounge music. The Bar offers assorted signature cocktails using the local herbs and spices like the kaffir leaf or galanggal or lotus leafs or lemongrass . There is also a full range of more “classic” cocktails, plus premium spirits, an extensive wine list, and local and imported beers.

Prices of the beers like chang or singha or san miguel or heineken is at 250 baht, imported beers like corona, budweiser, stella artois, guinnes at 300 baht and the regular cocktails like mai thai or tom collins or screwdriver at 350 baht and the signature and exotic cocktails like latitude sunset, bangkok batida, thai sabai, chiang rai express at 350 baht.
    Open daily: 5:00pm to 1:00am

Dress Code: smart casual. no flip flops, slippers, shorts, sleeveless shirts, athletic wear allowed.
