There is a stretch of clubs in the RCA(Royal City Avenue)district in Bangkok. The crowds mostly Thai teenagers and occasinally some farangs. One of the biggest club is Morgans which is okay I think. Personally, I dont really like it here cos the music is too loud u can have to learn how to read lips b4 u enter.
This is probably the best known nightclub on the RCA strip and it's an institution in Bangkok, being around for around a decade. The space itself is divided into North, South, East and West wings, each with a different concept. For example, the interior is all-white in the West with big speakers, lots of tables and chairs across the dance floor and elegant hanging lamps and chandeliers. There's also a big stage for live music. South is covered in flashy graffiti art and also offers live hiphop music. It's more chilled out here, with TVs and comfy sofas. There's something for everyone at Route 66, depending what you're looking for in the evening.
We headed down to RCA where there's a bit younger of a scene (I'm 25 and t looked like most people were about 5 years younger than me). Decent bars were down the strip. Near the beginning of the strip, on the left, there's a bar where when you have to go to the bathroom, you walk through these little doors. On the other side, instead of the typical bug ridden squat toilets, is a a full out bathroom lounge, with 5 peice band. An attendant quickly noticed me, radioed the other attendants about free stalls, and excorts you to the newly available one. Hilarious! Check it out. It's too bad I can't remember the name of the place.
