    Amulet Market

The amulet market is right next to the Grand Palace along Na Phralan Rd .It's also close to Thailand's well know Thammasasat Univerisity , Silpakorn University & the National Museum .
Take a stroll along Na Phralan Rd and you will see the classic Bangkok street with people sitting on the ground selling mostly Buddha amulets, herbal products, balms, branclets, secondhand stuff and even false teeth. You can get yourself a Thai Buddhist Amulet for as little as 10 baht. There are so many cheap food here as well,so I got very hungry walking to Na Phralan Rd from the pier at Tha Chang .

I have included this in off the beaten path because though it is in Bangkok alot of people would overlook it. If you walk along the road next to the river near the Grand Palace you will see stall after set up along the footpath selling all types of buddhist amulets that are for everything from protection, and prosperity to good health. Worth taking walk past and seeing all the different types.
