Luggage and bags: when travelling with group, check in one bag only and the rest should only bring carry on baggage
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: ou should select clothing which can be mixed and matched: colors which coordinate and layers which can be varied for look and comfort. To minimize the amount of clothing needed, you should plan to wash your clothing during any trip which is longer than a few days. While most people pay most of their attention to the styling of clothing, you will find that the fabric used in the clothing can make a significant different in your ease of travel. You will want to have wrinkle-resistant or wrinkle-proof clothing so you don't have to iron. If you are washing your clothing yourself, you want your clothing to be made from a fast drying fabric such as washable silk, one of the modern micro-fibers, or a high quality nylon such as Nycott, Supplex, or Softweave. Cotton, especially denim, takes forever to dry
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: keep to a minimal, if you are planning to tour within the cities, you can always find toiletries and medicines handy in any pharmacy.
Photo Equipment: a handy digicam with 2GB SD card will do the work!

Luggage and bags: No overstuffed suitcases, stop packing stuff your not gonna wear, and if your bags are overweight at the check in counter, you'll wind up paying for the extra kilos.
If your planning on doing some island hopping, travel lite, would recommend a backpack for easy on, easy off, when boarding boats.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: T-Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, maybe a hat, definitely sunglasses, and sunblock, leave your watch at home, your on vacation.
Pack a set of loose fitting, causal clothes for a night out on the town.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Toilet paper, sanitary wipes, and a small bottle of Germ X waterless soap are nice to have around.
Medical supplies, all the prescription drugs your doctor has you on, and or, a bottle of pain killer for the day after a hard nights partying.
Photo Equipment: Power adapters, Chargers, Plug adapters and a extra SD Card for those who really enjoy taking lots of photo's.
If you should forget to pack an item, dont worry, i'm sure you can find a shop that has whatever your need.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you're planning to go to any temples, the Grand Palace in particular, make sure you bring some lightweight clothing that covers your shoulders and legs. When I went to the Grand Palace I wore light combat trousers which I was able to roll up to the knee while walking around the city and down to my ankle when in the palace. I took a sarong to wrap around my shoulders in the palace but they wouldn't let me in so I had to hire a horrible baggy shirt that made me sweat so much in my life (and just think about all those other people who have sweated in the shirt!) Gross! Ladies - bring a kaftan!!!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring lightweight clothing for Bangkoks hot and humid weather. Sandals for temple visits. You must remove them before entering places of worship.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring insect repellent and sunscreen. You'll need both.

Luggage and bags: If you need extra luggage for your trip home. You can find them very inexpensive here.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You will probably only need lightweight cotton clothing. You should leave your shorts in your suitcase until you get to the beach. Bring a wrap for cool restaurants and a water resistant jacket if you come in the rainy season. Don't forget to bring comfy walking shoes.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can find most anything that you will need in Bangkok, if you know where to look.
Miscellaneous: Bangkok has three seasons: the cool season, hot season, and rainy season. Temperatures rarely drop below 25° C (70° F). To most of us tourists it seems quite warm and humid .
They do love their air conditioners though so bring a wrap.

Luggage and bags: Bring a half empty luggage. A big one. My friends were laughing at how big my luggage was but I had the last laugh cos after all the shopping, and it's time to to home, I could dump everything into the luggage and did not have the hassle of having a bulky hand carry. Hahahaha!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Shoes- Slippers or sandals. Don't bother with heels, or track shoes cos they make your feet sweat and that's mighty uncomforI was there for 4 days, and this was what I brought: 2 pairs of shorts, a pair of bermudas, jeans for the airport, 5 singlets. Pack light cos you can get almost everything there.

Luggage and bags: Besides your luggage, bring a body bag (something you can keep close to yourself) to place your wallet, passport, keys, shades and other essentials. You may use this as you traipse down Bangkok lane.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You might want to bring light-coloured shirts, shorts or pedal pushers for the blazing Bangkok sun. Sight-seeing requires endless walking under the sun. You don’t want to really sweat it out in dark-coloured and collared shirts, do you? Slip-ons and/or rubber shoes are great for walking.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I always bring a complete set of toiletries each time I travel because I don’t like hotel shampoos and conditioner. I’d rather bring my own brand so I won’t have to buy. A bottle of rubbing alcohol and some band-aids would be useful.
Photo Equipment: If you’re using manual camera, be sure to bring several rolls of film as you cannot live on one roll alone. If you’re using digital, just shoot and snap away! Make sure you have enough memory in your SD card. Don’t forget to bring your camera and mobile phone chargers.
Miscellaneous: You might want to bring an umbrella just in case the weather gets extremely hot and a fan. Lots of tissue and sunblock too.

Luggage and bags: Big big bag. Or else you can get one in Bangkok for less than $5.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring thin clothes. The Bangkok sun is very hot. But remember to bring 1 or 2 formal clothes if you planning to visit the temple or go to high class restaurant.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: No need to bring medical supplies. You can buy it in Bangkok.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you're planning to visit any Buddist Temple (why else would you go?) it's a good idea for men to bring zip-off pants/shorts. They don't allow shorts, and it's too hot to wear long pants during the day. I wish I did it sooner.
