Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: dress for warm weather...shorts, sleeveless tops, t-shirts, a hat, sandals, etc. anything that will combat the heat.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: SUNSCREEN!! you'll probably do a lot of walking outside and without sunscreen, before you know it, you could be fried :-)

Photo Equipment: lots of memory for your digital camera and extra batteries. almost everything in bangkok is a photo opportunity.

    Ols Temples

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light, natural fabrics. For example, cotton are best for staying cool. A sun hat or baseball cap is another extremely useful item to take with you.
Men should usually wear a suit and tie for business however, as a concession to climate, going in tie and shirtsleeves is acceptable. Generally, Thai tend to dress informally (mostly in western style) bu neatly and prefer visitors to do likewise. Respectable dress is required when visiting temples. Shoes and any head gear cap etc. shoud be removed whenever you enter a temple or a private home.

    me in swimwear, Bangkok (THAILAND)

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Shorts, sleeveless shirts, tank tops, sunglasses...etc. NICE CHIC SWIMWEAR is a MUST in Thailand. Lightweight synthetics breatheble outfits is better than cotton, it draw sweat away quickly, suitable for beach.

    FOR A HOT WEATHER

    by Adeline_Foo Updated Nov 10, 2002 504 reviews

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light, loose cotton clothing is best. Nylon should be avoided. Sweaters are needed during the cool season evenings or if visiting mountainous areas or national parks. Jackets and ties are required in a few restaurants and nightclubs. Neat clothes are required for entering temples or palaces

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Men - a pair of lightweight long trousers.
Women - a lightweight long skirt or dress.

This will get you into temples and palaces without a fuss and stop you looking totally like a tourist! If you forget to bring the right clothing, though, don't worry - it's very cheap to buy here.

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light cotton blouses, shorts, comfortable shoes to walk around easily.
Don't forget to wear long pants and protect your shoulders when entering a temple!

Miscellaneous: If you happen to visit a school (especially in the northern part of Thailand) try to get in touch with a school teacher. They always need stylos and paper for the children!
