Anna's Cafe: Great Food! Cute Waiters!

The food's great! It's local thai food, with some international cuisine.
The portions are also quite large, and we were extremely full after the meal!
Best part of it all, it's not that expensive!

If you can, try the very first cafe at 118, Soi Saladaeng, Silom, Bangkok.
There are 4 other cafes around bangkok as well.

Favorite Dish: Can't remember the name, but it's a Whole FISH!

Anna's Cafe: Thai and International Cuisine

This is a really nice restaurant in Sukhumvit area. I have been told that Thai moviestars and other local celebrities like to hang out and dine here. But I'm not sure if they do it in Sukhumvit branch or in the original branch which is in Saladaeng (near Saladaeng Sky Train Station). I visited Sukhumvit branch because it was nex to our hotel.

Food is really good. You can order thai or international style dishes. It's really a value for your money!

Favorite Dish: I ordered a roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was 120 baht. And I liked it very much....

You can find the menu on their website.

    Anna's Cafe: A Sweet & Spicy Experience

dinner at Anna's Cafe with Lani, Tita Lu & Rommel

Anna's Cafe is the best Restaurant I've been to during our stay at Bangkok. Out official guide - Tita Lu, who frequents Bangkok at least once every month told us, her trip in this city is never complete without a visit at Anna's and a serving of the chocolate mud cake.

We came without any reservation but the maitre d welcomed us with warmtth & enthusiasm. The interor is very pretty with trees and flickering lights around, the wall colors are very warm to the eyes & perfect for our tired bodies (we went there after a day of shopping spree). The music is soothing & the servers' english is understandable.

    Favorite Dish: spring rolls
    tom yam
stir-fired calamari w/ salted eggs (very, very spicy!)
    chocolate mud cake

Anna's Cafe: Don't miss the cakes!

I like Anna's Cafe, specially the Saladaeng soi 1 branch. What makes Anna's a fav place for many people is the friendliness of the manager and staff. It's a great place to go to celebrate your birthday cos you might just get a free piece of yummy cake(!) and the staff will gather around your table and sing you a happy birthday song(!) Some other tables may join the singing(!) It's such a friendly atmosphere there.

The food is yummy, specially the cakes! Oh how I luv their cakes! Anyway, the portion is not big. You can get a bigger portion with the same price in other restaurants.

Anyway, if you're looking for a quiet restaurant, this might not be a good choice for you. Cos people usually go there in a group of friends. So, they talk and it can be loud.

Favorite Dish: Blueberry pie and all the other cakes!

Anna's Cafe: Do not try the Tom Yam Kong here!

    Anna's Cafe

The surrounding was great with nice pictures hanging up on the wall. There are variety of food selection on the list. (Western and Eastern).

Favorite Dish: We had fried Catfish, kale with Oster Sause, Tom YAm Kong, Chicken in Green Curry. The most disappointment is the Tom Yam Kong which is the common dish in Bangkok. The soup was really diappointed us! Therefore, dun ever try the TOM Yam Kong in Anna's Cafe!
