Located at the 76th and 78th Storeys of Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Bangkok Sky Restaurant is the second highest* restaurant in the whole of Thailand as of June 2004.
All meals at the restaurant will include complimentary access to the observation and revolving roof decks, which offers its visitors a spectaculary unobstructive view of Bangkok in all its panaromic glory.
My buddies and I had their weekday lunch buffet which at 310 Baht, was a steal in my opinion. Not only was the food spread very diversied (including Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Western), they were all very delicious! And the best part was that their service staff were cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic, and not fake in their service. Really, it was my best meal in Bangkok!
* For those interested, the highest restaurant is Stella Palace, a Chinese Restaurant which is located at the 79th Storey of the same hotel.

Honestly, the taste of the food there is very average. The restuarant was so packed when I was there & basically spent most of time waiting for food.
The restuarant is located on the 76th & 78th floor of Thailand's tallest hotel, Baiyoke Sky Hotel.
There is a observation & revolving decks which provide magnificent panoramic views over the Bangkok skyline. Service Hours 10.30 - 22.30 hrs. 77th & 84th floor

Bangkok BaiYoke Sky Restaurant is on the 78th floor of BaiYoke Sky Hotel. It has a panoramic view of the Bangkok City with great buffet food. Food is a great quality. This is a non-revolving restaurant. There's the revolving restaurant further up on the 80+ floor.
When we were there about 1:00pm, there wasn't many people dining there but was soon fill in by tourists from other countries on group tours. There were, also, thai guests who were there for a celebration.
We were there for Lunch Buffet and the cost is THB700 per person. Hotel guests get 50% discount.
Favorite Dish: Japanese Food but Sashimi choices very limited.

This international buffet spread is simply sumptous and generous. When i was there at April 04, i paid 410 Thai BAHT per pax.
It's really value for money, besides the international cuisines, you get an eyeful of the magnificient view of Bangkok Skyline at night.
The restaurant is located on the 78th floor of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel @ Pratunam.
I'll recommend that you make a reservation before you go there. This is to cut short your waiting time outside the restaurant . It can be very packed at times.
Just go to the business centre of the hotel you staying and ask them to make the reservation for you. The hotel would usually have all the numbers.
Besides the buffet, spend some time at the observatory floor.
Favorite Dish: I like their Japanese Cuisine section, as they provide 'Oden', my fav japanese soup...with Radis, japanese fishcakes and Konyaku.
