Bed: No need to sit up straight

    by young_brit Written May 25, 2012

Super cool place and super cool food. The service is excellent, the food is familiar but unusual (if that makes any sense) and it is not as expensive as one might expect.

Favorite Dish: Chocolate and ice cream... irresistible

When we went, it was a fixed course meal. I think 3 courses for around $40. You take your shoes off and sit on a giant bed...similar to a Sex And The City episode. The food "delivered." It wasn't just for show. Cocktails were good. They also had massage therapists roaming around to give 20 minute massages for $6 U.S. dollars. We were there on a Wednesday night so maybe it was just for that night.

Favorite Dish: The atmosphere was so cool... who cares about the food... BUT it was great.

    Bed Supperclub: Unique Dining Experience

This establishment is quite unique. It appears from the outside as if a tubular warehouse, but as you step inside you're transported to a surreal, white-ly decorated environment. In lieu of the usual tables there are spacious white couches and resting chairs, arranged around low coffee table-sized tables. Lights swirl around the space, and music is playing from a live DJ. The music is an ambient beat mix, and during dinner there was a dancer.

It is an exemplary environment. Far different from normal restaurants. The experience is worth the trip itself.

Favorite Dish: The atmosphere is not the only reason to visit. The restaurant features an international fusion cuisine. When I was there, we started with a tomato broth with avocado and chicken flautas, and tuna sashimi with wasabi ice. The wasabi ice was incredible; the coolness of the ice complemented the heat of the wasabi. The broth was fragrant and worked with the crispness of the flautas. Main courses were lobster tempura with a crab-avocado salad. The salad was delicious. There was a crusted lamb loin, paired with sautéed spinach and fennel-scalloped potatoes. Dessert was a trio of sorbets: kiwi, coconut, and mango. There is also a delicious chocolate tart, which was gooey inside and surrounded by a cinnamon sauce and walnut praline. The whole meal was delicious. Well prepared, balanced.

    Bed Supperclub: An Experience

    Fantastic experience for Bangkok

Visit this all white bar / restaurant and step out of the congestion and pollution of everyday Bangkok.

The building is striking on its own. Walk down the street and the big white cylinder cannot fail to catch your eye.

Inside, relax on the all white beds whilst being served your dinner and drinks by attentive staff. Entertainment varies every evening apparently, but the night I visited we were entertained by a white clad lady being a spider across a large spiders web strung out across the balconies.

This venue is more about the experience rather than savouring the culinary delights (having said that the food was absolutely fine)

Make sure that you book a table in the restaurant in advance.

Bed Supperclub: Ultra Hip restaurant, bar and nightclub

by trisanna Updated Mar 27, 2007

This place is great. We went with friends for dinner and it was lovely. You need to book far in advance for a bed on weekend nights. Every week ,the chef does a new suprise menu. The dinner is a set price and has a few suprise courses. When they take your drink order, you can always tell them what you do and don' t eat. One of my friends was vegetarian and this wasn't a problem. When we were there, their menu was Cambodian fusion and was delicious! Between courses, they had models in various Thai hilltribe outfits moving through the restaurant. It's worth to come here for a drink and check out this cool space ship white on white looking restaurant. It's beautiful!

    Snack menu

From the outside, it looks like a spaceship. Gradual stairs leads u to the entrance where u pay 600 baht on a weekend to get in. Includes 2 drinks. Here u decide which way to go; left to restaurant bar where dinner and/or drinks could be had on a stretch of white daybeds with the companionship of chillout music...cool! Great for chilling out. Suitable for intimate conversations. After dark, proceed to the right and dance the night away at the main bar. When u get tired, more daybeds and another bar counter can be found upstairs. A good mix of locals and expats while i was there. The decor and architecture is something u cannot miss when in Bangkok! Good food, glorious drinks and beautiful people...What else are u expecting? Everything not cheap though. Expect to spend more here.

Favorite Dish: Dinner was over when i was there. But i tried this supper snack though. Fried calamari with king prawns. The squid in gold was both crunchy and chewy, not forgetting the huge prawns which was cooked just right. Wash it down with an ice cold Singha beer. Hmm...tasty! Period. The price? 280 baht. Totally worth it.

I didn't eat here, just had some drinks and checked out the dance floor. Bed SupperClub is a combination of upscale restaurant, and dance club with modern and futuristic all white environment setting.

When dining, you got to take your shoes off, lay down and you're at home. Not really good for romantic dinner though becoz you may possibly lay down next to strangers. The small tables are pretty close to each other, and they're always fully book. Good for small group of friends gathering and chating, comfortable!

We paid 600 Bhat for cover charge and drink-as-much-as-you-can the whole night. It was Thursday and dance floor get crowded at around 11pm. The door man was a bit slobby, so be prepared to dress well to get through him.

Ultra Chic, Hip, but food not really good

Again another restaurant that I wasn't too impressed with, first of all, at the time of booking I did not know and wasn't told that there was a so called "SURPRISE" menu on weekends for 1200 bahts about $35 US dollars. The first course served was a cold cucumber soup, very simple, ok...the second course a house salad, again very simple, ok, and then for the main dish, a tenderlion pork steak, again OK. What you paying here is the ambience of being in an ultra chic bar and club, I give the food 2 thumbs down, not worth the1200 bahts in a city that you can eat soooo cheap, the food is not worth the trip here. The staff was ok, all spoke English well enough to communicate, but other wise just ok !!!! At 11:00 p.m. they open the door for the club crowd to come in, and mingle with those eating, the place gets full and the music jams!!! Come here for drinks not for the food !!!!!!

a few tables, and very long couches

In a totally futurtistic stlye that could have been forseen by the designer Courege and Paco Rabane in the 60's-70's, you'll find the most trendiest restaurant of all bangkok.
Here, conventionnal tables and chairs are very few. Mattresses and oversized pillows give the custumer the opportunity to lounge... You'll eat like used to tradittional Thai villagers, or like the romans!!!

A very innovative cuisine is served (Mediterranean with asian overtones),while you listen to lounge and chillout music being mixed by a DJ.

Favorite Dish: Sunday through Thrusday 3-course meals are served (about 900bath/person + drinks).
On Fridays and Saturdays, diners are requested to arrive by 20:30 sharp, as "there is only one sitting for a special surprise 4-course menu that will be served up along with a choreographed audio-visul display".

NOTE: the chef there is Dan Ivarie, who is an award-winning chef!!!

terrific fusion restaurant - sit on a bed and eat fantastic food - the whole restaurant is like a space pod - welcome to the 25th century - tremendou music - great food

Favorite Dish: no menu given - simply asked what you like and what you don't - you are then simply fed with delicious food - spinach soup, duck salad, prawn wonton, fillet steak on a sweet potato mash, chocolate cake - fantastic cocktails too
