The food is, at worst, pretty good Thai food.
It's not the fanciest meal in Bangkok, but the dedication of Dr. Meechai, the former public health minister and owner, to his foundation work -- reproductive health services, vocational assistance for former or potential commercial sex workers, village economic development work, and HIV/STI prevention -- together with the very pretty old-fashioned Thai building, wildly decorated with condoms from around the world, make this a meal like no other.
The money you spend does some extraordinarily important work.

The 2-level restaurant offers a pretty extensive menu of local dishes, from fish and curry to soups and stir fry vegetables. Some of the dishes tasted more like Chinese food than Thai food, and none of the dishes we ordered really stood out.
The service is good, although it may be a little hard to get the attention of the waiter/waitress during the peak dining periods.
Overall ambience is warm and cozy, and that makes for a nice dining experience. Diners can choose to dine indoors on the upper level, or in a more alfresco-like area on the ground floor, where there is a wishing well and pretty landscaping and lighting.
Although the restaurant is so-named for contraceptives that adorn its walls, the condoms didn't appear to be a really prominant feature. The decor is classy, not campy, so you might want to dress up a little.
I would suggest ordering some unusual local dishes as opposed to general dishes like steamed fish or stir-fried vegetables, for that unique culinary experience. A unique condom-theme restaurnat in an open-air garden setting. Condoms from all over the world are displayed on the walls, like a mesuem. Normally, restaurants will give free gum or menthol after dinner, here, they give free condoms!
Well, the food was not specially good here. We ordered 3 dishes, one asparagus, one fried beef with basil leaves, and one fried fish, only the plain asparagus was good. The fis was too salty and dried. The beef was so-so. I like the environment more than the food here.
