    Well, I'm not vegetarian myself but my friend is. May Kaidee is one of his favorite vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok. And price is pretty cheap compared to food she serves. Even I'm meat-eater I still enjoyed her food. Everydish goes for 30-35 Baht. Restaurant located on the ground floor of small hotel ("Thai Cozy House")

    - Spring Rolls (30 Baht)
    - Masaman Curry (35 Baht)
    - Ginger Fried Tofu (35 Baht)

    There are three branches of Mai Kaidee Restaurants and Cooking School in BKK all around Banglampoo not far from Khaosan Road.The one I like is in alley behind the Burger King but all three are very good places if you are looking for authentic Thai healthy food - all vegetarian, of course! If you are lucky to be there on the day head chef Mai Kaidee is in the kitchen at the Samsen Road (Soi 1) branch , you are in for a real treat.Mai Kaidee also offers a popular one day cooking class here.

    Very cheap and traditional menu except no meat or fish at all!!

    I know this charming, friendly and always smiling girl and her restaurant since '99.

    she has nice food, realy affordable for budget travellers and backpackers.

    have to order. but they cook fast enough.

    all kinds of thai dishes.

    she started her own culinary courses now.

    perhaps vegetarian tom-yam and papaya salad (Som Tam ?)
