    I was first introduced to rotis about ten year ago in Malaysia and have loved them ever since. It was nice to find a great and authentic place to have some in Bangkok. This very small eatery is a busy place so we timed it well going between breakfast and lunch. You order inside and they bring the food out to you at small street side tables.

    Rotis are fried Indian flat breads that are used to sop up a thick curry sauce with either chicken or lamb. It is traditionally a breakfast food bit is a great snack any time of day. At only 16B (about 40 cents) a serving, why not grab a couple? Of course, I couldn't resist. ;=)

  • Roti-Mataba is one of the truly fantastic restaurants in Banglamphu area, with flavors that are guaranteed to satiate your appetite...! Located very close to the Mae Nam Chao Phraya, on the corner of Phra Athit and Phra Sumen, they specialize in Thai muslim curries and excellent mataba... They have some plastic tables inside and sometimes on the sidewalk as well, for an al fresco experience...

  • A very small restuarant with 2 floors offer delicious rotii (Indian bread) , Massaman curry ,.......
    Open 7.00AM-8.00PM
    Close : Monday

    The most delicious for me 's Mataba or indian pancake with stuffed inside.

  • Down by the River. Upstairs has tight eating quarters. AC, but still this restaurant is nothing special. Prices are cheap. The Roti with eggs inside is tasty, but overall the place is nothing to write home about.
