Whole Earth, Bangkok

This restaurant specializes in Indian and Thai cuisine. Lots of good vegetarian food. The first floor dining room is kind of bland. Upstairs they have lots of low tables and cushions to sit on and chill out. Lots of nice fruit lassis. Great mango and sticky rice for dessert.

Whole Earth has great food at prices that are a little more than your average Thai restaurant but still a bargain at international standards - very reasonably priced for most foreigners outside of the Khao San crawlers. A great selection of food, lots of curries and Thai food in a great setting, esp the location off Sukhumvit Road where you can enjoy your meal in the garden. At Soi Lang Suwan you have the option of sitting at tables or on pillows on the floor around a low table. Last time i was there, there was no outdoor section.

Favorite Dish: Take your pick - it is all very good.
