The building is 304 m (997 ft) tall, or 328 m (1,076 ft) tall if its antenna is included. It has 85 floors, with a public observatory on the 77th floor, a bar called "Roof Top Bar & Music Lounge" on the 83rd floor, and a 360-degree revolving roof deck on the 84th floor which you can go up and visit for amazing, if rather polluted, views over the city. The price includes a drink (alcoholic if you desire) which you can sip in the bar.

Take a picture of Thailand tallest building, the Baiyoke Tower II. It was right beside our hotel so taking a picture during the sunny summer day was a cinch.

We decided to go to the Baiyoke Tower for dinner... we ended up on the 78th floor. The rooms were covered with some stuff that affected our views. The food was cold once you sat down at your table, it was from a buffet, and not that good, and expensive compared to what you can find in Bangkok. So I would suggest to only go to the Baiyoke Tower for the views on the viewing deck on the 84th floor!

Be prepare to enjoy the magnificent night scenery of Bangkok at the top of Biyoke Sky Tower. Since the platform at the top of tower able to rotate 360 degree, visitors don't need to walk around the clock, just stand still and have a good time.
If you are tired enjoy the night view under open roof, drop by to the down stair cafe / pub, sit tight enjoy the drinks or food while observe through the window.

The Baiyoke Sky Tower building is 309m (1,013 ft) tall, or 328m (1,076 ft) tall if its mast is included. It has 85 floors, with a public observatory on the 77th floor and a 360-degree revolving roof deck on the 84th floor. The view in the Top is Breathtaking since you can see the various expressways of bangkok and the chao phraya river and grand palace complex but I was not that Impressed since I've been to many Tower's Including the Highest being the CN Tower in Toronto Canada (see my toronto page) and Stratosphere Tower in Vegas and Macau Tower.

It is certainly worth while going to the Baiyoke Sky Hotel and up to the viewing area on the 84th Floor.
The views are amazing and up a bit further is the revolving deck.
Great photo opportunities and when your finished theres a little bar up there to sit and have a drink and take in the view.
The Baiyoke Tower was opened in 1998 and the building is 309 metres high.
There are 2060 steps from the bottom to the top and if you did this it would take you more than an hour to reach the top. (Much easier by lift).
The piling runs 60 metres deep underground or about the height of a 22 storey building.
Go up the lift from the lobby to the 77th floor.
There is another lift to the 83rd floor for the revolving deck on the 84th floor.
Open Monday - Friday: 10.30 a.m. - 10.00 p.m. and weekend + holidays: 9.30 a.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Adults 120 baht and children (up to 120 cms.) 60 baht

Next to here is a night market, Pratunam. So after shopping, you can go there and see the entire city from 83rd floor.
It cost 200 bath, but in the rotary bar just downstairs from the terrace, you can take a soft or alcohol drink showing the same ticket that you've already paid at the entrance while you see the entire city at your feet.
Enjoy it, better at night!!!.

The first time I went to Bangkok I stayed at the Indra Regent and amazingly was oblivious to the fact thet the Baiyoke Skytower was only a few hundred metres away. On my second trip to Bangkok I made sure I didn't miss it. It really is one of the things you should do. We went to the 77th floor observation deck but apparently you can go to the 84th floor roof deck for an open air experience. After you've checked this out have a look around Partunam. Some people hate it but I loved it. It was a real bustling part of town...

For those who do not know Baiyoke is the tallest tower in in Bangkok.
After spending the night here I was a bit dissapointed by the price charged. It is far too expensive for the room and is best just to call in and visit. The buffet breakfasts and lunches are well worth the money as there is a wide selection of foods from all over Asia and deserts etc. All you can eat so turn up as hungry as you can be and make the most of it. There is also a nice bakery at the reception floor (not ground) of the hotel. The skybar is useless and tacky. It is best to just call in for a feed and visit the top floor to get a great view of Bangkok.
