    Very colorful & unique market place. But very tourist centric. This place still considers worth visit for me because the floating market is something not found in my country. You can book one of those 3-in-1 day trips to Duamnuensaduak, Kanchanaburi & one more temple place (not paying attention because i don't fancy temple visit) at very reasonable price and have a fun filled day trip.

    "Talad Nam" or Floating Market is a main attraction in Bangkok and located at western BK - Damnemsaduak or Thonburi - the famoust one is the first - the second one not so popular anymore because the river trafic is to crowdy ! Without leaving the boat - they trade mainly fruit and vegtables but also copper kettles and some boats even prepare fast food like noodles and soup !

    Floating markets can be found throughout the huge canal syem around Bangkok. Thai women on top wooden canoes selling colourful fruits and vegetables to hats to assorted daily needs. Get there early to avoid the hordes of oncoming customers, bystanders and the familiar curious folks.

    The floating market at Damnoen Saduak is about 2 hours drive South of Bangkok. Most tours start early to the market as by noon the market is finished. The atmosphere is great, there are boats selling all sorts of ware from fruit, vegetables and meat to some which will cook food for you which you eat whilst stopped alongside.
