Grand Palace, Bangkok
One cannot miss the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (both in one). It is, what I believe, gives Bangkok its elegence. This is a true MUST SEE AND EXPLORE.
A buddhist form of monument in gold, located beside the royal monestery of the emerald buddha, grand palace. Impressive beautiful thai landmark.
We believe the most beautiful Wat and the Royal Palace is great. Except the fact that all foreigners (woman) should be dressed correctly, no open shoes, you will need sleves.
This Palace is just fantastic... More than 100 buildings where the King and Queen lives earlier. Now they only use this to special arrangements and visits from abroad.
The Grand Palace. I mostly liked those orange figures, who silently appeared from nowhere, rushing in silence again...
The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo)
Stunning architecture, beautiful paintings presenting the Indian epos, the Ramayana
The Grand Palace. See my travelogue for more pictures...
Go to the Grand Palace. This picture is of the Aphonphimok Prasat Pavilion. Try to say that as fast as you can 10 times...
You must see the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. The complex is incredibly colorful and full of history.
The wat (temple) here contains the Emerald Buddha, one of Thailands most revered objects.
This complex of buildings in the old town is surrounded by walls. All of them are beautiful, constructed in a typcial Thai architecture. You'll believe you're in a fairy tale!
The Royal Palace.. but if you wear shorts or sleeveless shirts be prepared to have to wear trousers or skirt loaned to you at the entrance.
