There are various night flower markets throughout Bangkok offering roses, lotuses, and many other types of sweet smelling flowers.
The pink roses in the picture was 70 baht for the bunch, the ones in the back were 50 baht.

Before going to the Night Flower Market you can tell the driver to stop for a while in the Erawan Shrine, where most of the people have travelled from far away places to just pray and have a little offering. Afterwards, we went to the Lovely night flower market though you can encounter different kinds of people. The place is filled with vegetables, vast amount of orchids and other flowers. Head to the Pat Phong Night Market, the place is certainly filled of many souveneirs from clothing to different kind of street foods!

there is an exibition and contest of Thai Orchids every first Sunday of each month. Many beautifull tropical flowers displayed here, best of the best in fact ! I think it is MUST in order to complete one's full picture of Thailand with one of its most beaitufull flowers - Vanda Orchids !
the contest is held every first Sunday of each month in the Bangtsai Garden, which is opposite of Munag Thong Tani and before the Carefour supermarket on the Jang Wattana Road.
next contest will be on May 4th, from 11:00 am to 15:00pm

Make sure you take the time for visit the flower market (near the river). There is an incredible amount of different flowers to be seen and people make very beautiful things with them.
