A walk through Bangkok's Flower Market is both pleasing on the eye and nose. The place is a hive of activity nearly all day long. Some say it is best to visit early in the morning. I got there around 10.00am and the place was in full swing. Apart from the amazing flowers, it is great to watch the people making the floral garlands that are so much a part of Thai culture. The speed and skill of the workers is very impressive.

An flower market that is an amamzing picture of colours and aromas is only a short walk from the Memorial bridge, on the border of China Town. When we were there, we were the only tourists walking through the market, where the major hotels purchase there flowers. The big baskets of chillies, garlic etc add a touch not seen at many markets. Well worth the time spent walking there.
