This is a must visit place especially if you are going with kids. Kids would love this place for all its amazing shows e.g. Chimpanzee show, sea lion show and dolphin show.
You can easily spent the whole day here.

Don't bother paying to go and if you do...you will regret it and pay even more and is sad you are contributing to their suffering (i regret going to it n see their pointless acts)....althought i hate to see animals being caged up...what is worse....to see they are unhappy doing circus acts for the public...especially the elephants and polar bears...love the animals....but not in their right environment...anyway....if you want to see the real safari world.....go to africa.....not thailand!

Hi everybody
Please do not visit the safari world park!
BOS (Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation), found out that they illegaly smuggle wild orang utans from the malaysian woods . They hit and abuse the animals to get them trained for their shows. Tiger babys live in tiny crates, where at one point in time, they all go mentally ill.
I know, the shows might be funny for kids, but there is no reason to let animals suffer for a short laugh. And kids shall learn to treat them with respect and see them in Zoo's where they live in a natural environment. So please, please do not go to this place! More information on BOS you can find on following websites: http://www.monkeyworld.co.uk/press.php?ArticleID=67 or www.savetheorangutan.org.uk
Thank you!

Safari World is located outskirt of Bangkok. Here, you can find different kinds of animals like giraffe, elephants, dolphins etc etc.
They have a scheduleled animal shows for dolphins, sea lions, uranggutans etc.
Just check their brochure for the show time.
After the show a guide will take you to the wild life safari by riding a close bus and roam around to see the tigers and other wild animals in the pak.
Kiosk, souvenir shops and amusement park can be found within the complex.
Would definitely recommend this activity for both young and young at heart..

The animals here are not happy, not healthy and not well taken care of. The poor orangutans have to stage a boxing show, and I have even read some articles by Animal Rights organisations which stated that some orangutans have even died while training for these shows. Also, take a look at this article from BBC, entitled Orang-Utan apes missing in Bangkok:

Please do not encourage the maltreatment and cruelty towards animals!!!

we opted for an additional tour of safari world (whole day), worth 1300 baht per person, which includes safari world open zoo, marine shows and buffet lunch...we got to see various animals at their natural habitat while inside a coaster, we got to see feeding time of lions...the buffet lunch was ok, with thai food and delicacies...but themarine shows are just ok comparable to the shows in the philippines...you can save a lot of money and time if you skip the marine shows...you can save half the price! but the safari world open tour is worth the money!

Even it’s not a touristic attraction we went there, at the zoo, but it’s more like a park where local people spend the day, sitting on the grass or chairs or simply in hamacs, and take their own lunch. There are raven everywhere and some animals but not well take care, we lost our time going there and also going to the safari world, it’s incredible but it was more expensive than the zoo at Singapore and honestly I felt stolen. Very few animals and not well take care, the installations need a very urgent renovation, and all this about open wild animals is simply some giraffes, camels, birds, buffalos, tigers, zebras, rhinoceros and deers basically. We went on March and the half of the safari park was closed, the shows were very basic and the food there oh!!! really bad; we didn't stay until the end of the tour, (it isn't a tour is just to see the shows) we had to take a taxi back to the city, the taxi was expensive but when you're a tourist you need your precious time.
Ok, ok, good things: I could give a hug to a baby orangutan (80 bath) and saw the tigers feeding time.
