by rudocp Lotuses for sale. The flower markets are unbeleivable and the prices are so cheap. I wish I could have brought some home with me. If I lived there I would have fresh flowers all over my house. Leave a Comment

Pracha Songkraw area; photo: Phil Muller by riproy There are so many night markets around the city selling durable goods to fresh fruit to road side meals to lottery tickets. They are a tasty and cheap way to eat, and a great opportunity to people-watch. Never a dull moment in the Kingdom! Leave a Comment Directions: Ubiquitous

by rudocp These flower arrangements are made as offerings to Budda. Many are designed to hang from doorknobs, rearview mirrors, etc. It is amazing the details of these ornaments. Leave a Comment

Out there somewhere.. by bobinalong We took a ferry boat down the river hopped off at an interesting looking market, and immediately were in another world away from the backpacker hell of Khaosan Road. (Not that I don't love hanging out there !!) So many different food stalls, none of the fairly average tourist tat we all come home with! Unfortunately I don't remember the actual name or location of the market exaclty, its just waiting to be re-discovered..!! Leave a Comment Address: Somewhere a ferry boat away...

tired of walking around the market by PS_Lee81 as you can see from the photo, it says "I.C.P Flower Market". this place was somewhere near to Pak Klong Talat... we came here with great expectation of seeing a lots lots of pretty and fresh flowers. But it ended up we only saw most people selling veges and fruits. Maybe we went to the wrong entrance. But it was still an experience that we managed to see all kind of differents vege and fruit to be sold at this market.

Jewelry Shops are part of a tour we got from the airport costing 500B good for 6 persons. Tour includes van transfer, 3 temple visits (Wat Traimit, Wat Benchamabophit & Wat Pho), 2 jewelry shops & a James Fashion Tailor). Lasting for half day, not bad considering the cost. We just take a look around the jewelry shops. No pressure to buy. Offered us a drink. Quite pricey but nice quality items.
