Anyone above 120cm will have to pay 500 baht for the entry and glass-bottom boat ride. You can see a wide variety of marine life from spider crabs, sea urchins to sharks. There are also talks that you can attend and a touch pool where you can handle star fish. The rocks and seaweed were man-made and their stand is that in order to teach conversation, they should not destroy the nature by bring marine life into the aquarium. Phone: (02) 6872000Directions: You can take Skytrain to the central station or also known as Siam station. Follow the sign to Siam Paragon to access straight into the mall. Take the ecalator to B1 from the food court and you can reach the oceanarium.Website: http://www.siamoceanworld.co.th

Be Thrilled at the Deepest End of Ocean by sailor_p With the newly opened Siam Ocean World, you do not need to brave the most dangerous creatures to attempt Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea" feat. Just relax in the cooling air-con and you get to meet face-to-face with Man's greatest fear at the bottom of the ocean. Still can't get want I say? Then, visit Siam Ocean World at Siam Paragon. Occupying two basements, you get to see a wide varieties of sea creatures, ranging from jellyfish, octupus, fish to sharps and stingrays. The theme park is divided into several sections, each highlighting a special theme where you get to see different sea creatures in various environments. All this within 450 baht per adult! Your kids would love this place. Add another 50 baht, you get to enjoy a ride on the glass boat too! Have fun! Leave a Comment

Siam Ocean World as they say is the First World Class Aquarium in Thailand and its similar to Singapore's Sentosa Underwaterworld. It is divided into 7 zones namely: weird and wonderful, sea jellies, open ocean, rocky shore, deep reef, living ocean and rainforest. Yopu can also have an underwater wedding and dive with the shark activity though it has to be pre arranged. Magical Mermaid Shows (YOU SHOULDNT MISS THIS) and other activities like penguin feeding and shark feeding are done on a specific time (check brochures) They have an on going promotion when we were there : THB690.00 for adult and THB 540.00 for child Inclusions: a. Siam Ocean World Ticket b. Free Pepsi (you can claim at any booth) c. Free Ice cream d. 4D X~venture e. VCD (cartoon) f. Discount coupons g. Glass Bottom Ride (not worth queuing up a long line)

SiamOceanWorld by xuessium I confessed: I did not even bother to step in (well, except the gift shop). Singapore has one. I've been to the one in Melbourne. And I have been IN the real thing off countless islands, not to mention the Great Barrier Reef. My friends however visited it and came back with raving reviews....so it can't really be all bad. Probably a great place to bring kids! Open 9am-10pm daily. Entry fee (circa Jul 2006): Adults: 450 bahts Children: 280 Bahts Leave a Comment

I thought that the entrance fee was only 450baht (i checked the website and then there were two rates: the one in written in thai was 450 for adults, while the english one was 750baht.) anyway, i still went to Siam Ocean World and paid the 750 entrance fee, which included several stubs (1 free 22oz pepsi, 1 free boat ride, and 1 free 4D movie). The boat ride would set you back 150baht, while the 4D movie would be 250baht. despite being 750baht poorer, i enjoyed the whole experience. Phone: (02) 6872000Directions: Take the BTS Skytrain, get off at Siam Station, go down exit 5 and proceed to the Basement 1 of Siam Paragon.Website: http://www.siamoceanworld.co.th

by byiang Experience the glass bottom boat, quite interesting. What can I say? I guess I've had it with aquariums. Nothing much but if it's our first time going in a huge aquarium, you will like the experience.

At the basement of Siam Paragon is Siam Ocean World, an aquarium with a pretty impressive underwater tunnel housing lots of sharks, stingrays and big fish. Leave the husband and children there whilst ladies go shopping. Entrance fees are not cheap though. I thought it a little bewildering that underneath the glitzy shopping arcade hides this "subterranean" waterworld. My favourite were the sea angels!! Leave a Comment
