    Cobra Snake Show

by DONBURGESS Written Jun 26, 2004

On our way back from he floating market we stopped off at the snake farm, here they had on show a range of snake and turtles, crocs etc. I you want you can also sit in on the Coba show which cost 100batt, seems most things in Bangkok start at 100batt. The show was about 15 mins long and was very intresting, you get to feel the snakes, bit scary but at the same time fun. If you don't like snakes at all, stay in the gift shop

    Me with a snake

The first thing we went to see in Bangkok was the snake farm, where they produce anti-venom serum from all kinds of different poisonous snakes. There are shows with snakes several times a day and also a short slide show inside a building.

After the outdoor show anyone who wants to can have a snake around his or her shoulders.

Don't be surprised if you wont see a lot of snakes!!! Snakes are too few! Not really sure if they are just hiding preparing themselves to bite you...but be cautious though!!!

An interesting place provided you don't have a phobia about snakes! I was expecting to see all the snakes behind glass but the beauty in the photo was slithering around on the ground completely in the open. The scariest part for me was being spat at by a spitting cobra but fortunately this one was behind glass!

Watch expert snake handlers play tricks with even the venomous of snakes. They’re fierce, scary and dangerous. Be very afraid. Children, you shouldn’t try this at home. :)
