The old airport of Bangkok is one of the largest airports in the world! I remember that i was walking for 15 minutes to go to outside!

Taxi's will try to take you to hotels of their choice.They get a cut from the hotels for bringing in farangs.It almost happened to me so insist on going to your destination of choice.

Don't take the taxi from airport to city. Better go by train as local people do. It cost only 5 baht for one hour ride.

The best entry point to Thailand is the International Airport (Don Muang). They have a very extensive duty free shopping area.

Don't forget that you need to pay 500 bath in the airport before you leave the country !!!
