I read some review of this zoo on here. It sounds too good compared to what I saw. I'm Thai, living in England for few years. I'd been to this zoo 3-4 times, fist time when I was 8. I went there last year 2006. I was boring compare to Open Zoo (in Sriracha). There are not many animal to see. It’s cruel to take picture with wild animal that has no...more
I'd been to this zoo many times already and it was always fun. It is the best place for family with young children. It is quite far from Pattaya and it’s quite hard to get to. You may need to have your own vehicle to get to and you don’t need to park at the car park. You can travel by vehicle so you don’t have to walk in the zoo – it is a very big...more
If you manage to get out of bed after a late night in Pattaya, this is the place to be. There is not a lot to do, that's why it's perfect. It is a relaxing little place, with mini zoo. It was a bit boring till I saw the giant fish in their pond. Oh, my god! This thing’s mouth is bigger than my head. I couldn’t get a good picture to show you, my...more
At the Rattana hotel, one block from the Mercure hotel, they have a bar with sing-a-song girls. This is the only entertainment I found in the city. This is an interesting way to hear some of the music of Thailand. A side benefit is the beer in this bar is the coldest beer I ever had in Thailand. The bottles are ice cold and it is served in an ice...more
One night I took a local transport call “Song Taew” visit Bang Saen beach. This place located in San Suk district, about 14 kms from central of the province. The town itself there is not much significant sight to see as a tourist place. My activities there just enjoyed exploring the town by foot. The town is not so big, look old and there are many small streets connected so it easy to walk around on footpath. Thing surprise me was there are so many food stalls by side walk at night and some places in...more

Everytime we had lunch and dinner..I can see many different views from this restaurant! They have also a English speaking Jazz band! Can't ask for more though...;-)more
Robinson in Sriracha is a newly finished one! Still very clean, don't have much people compare to MBK and the food court in there is clean and the fork and spoons as I've noticed are cleaner compare to any other Food courts in Bangkok! The foods too are more cheaper than in Bangkok again. Per meal is only 25baht/serve a combo serve! I like this...more
After you toured all around the resort, there is a buffet lunch in the main building which is the main restaurant. The buffet is only 200 baht/person. And is worth anyhow but drinks are not included in the 200baht. When we visited it was too crowded as it was raining..people don't seem to care about paying extra as long as they have a place to stay...more
Actually, this isn't a bar or something but a very nice spot just to gaze out stars...lol..Anyway, I'm not really a nightlife gal and would probably stay in the room or in the pool to see some nightlights in the neighbooring place...Like this one here, the hotel has a pool by the bay so, it is expected to have a nice night and of course it depends on the weather, if it rains, it pours! But when we got there, we had a calm night and a orange juice in the side of the pool is pretty, is it? or you like something else? Well, can't recommend any..:(
Dress Code: When you're in the pool, shorts or anything you're comfy with..

A deparment store in the middle of the small city! I didn't believed hubby at first but geeezz, they really have! I guess, it's a newly opened store for a year or 2 yet..It's a bigger Robinson's compare the ones in Bangkok and there are alot of small shops inside. Either what you like to buy. They have a Tops food center in the ground floor and a 4 or 5 floors of Robinsons Store inside..Everything you will find in Bangkok is in there too!
What to buy: I bought a pair of slipper as I forgot to brign mine, it's only 129baht or $3..
I've noticed that some provinces in Thailand is rather more friendly than the other people in Bangkok! They are more preserved and more smiling...They have a simple living but I don't know maybe years to come, this place will be full of huge apartments and hotels..
Luggage and bags:
Bring a small luggage with you as you will quite like the first stop which is Bangkok, I guess..
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring some lighter clothes to feel you comfy as Thailand is a humid place if you're from western and european countries!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: It's advisable to bring along your own toiletress as haven't found a free in there!
Photo Equipment: If you like to have a hundred pictures or even thousands, bring your digital cameras!
Actually, I've asked a man if can I go with them fishing? then they just smile...maybe tey understand me or not? I've seen old ladies and young ones used a stick and with a pair of yellow t-shirts of them all. They were just exercising but with a step to perform. I find it very hard as you have the stick with you with all the steps that you're gonna be performing. It's kind of hard compare to the dancing routine! A yellow shirt and a stick;-)more
