as anyone of you know by now, I'm an avid collector of fridge magnets and shot glasses of my travels and while at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market Area, buying both will be an imperative but unfortunately, they don't have the damnoen saduak shot glasses and I've only bought the fridge magnets. There is a variety of fridge magnets that you can choose from and they come in different shapes and sizes and most are of the magnetized strip kind and they sell for 60 baht per piece (if you haggle. or else it will cost 150 baht per piece if not). They come in different designs and concepts too, so buy one now.

Mango with sticky rice is a sweet south east asian invention. It is composed of Ripe yellow Mango with glutinous sticky rice and sometimes flavored with brown sugar or coconut milk. I don't really know which country started it but it is the BEST DESSERT! Here in Thailand it's called "Khao Niaw Ma Muang" and it the Philippines, it is called "Suman sa Lihiya at Mangga". You can buy this sweet but heavy dessert here at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the price is 30 baht per piece and are put in styrofoam plates with plastic forks.
try them now!

Coconut Ice Cream is really popular around thailand as the weather here is hot for most of the year and during the monsoon season, the showers are not as intense as in the typhoon belt areas of asia like taiwan or the philippines or vietnam or china. Coconut ice cream is peddled here in thailand with the ice cream placed in a freshly cut young coconut instead of an ice cream cone and is available everywhere in in The Damoen Saduak Floating Market and other areas around Damnoen Saduak like in the Elephant Trekking and Cobra and Monkey Shows.
You can buy these coconut ice cream at 25 baht for a big scoop inside the coconut shell and with the grated coconut meat.
